The Rose Wolf River Retreat
“The soul of your true nature is calling you home.”
Although you will find fast wifi at The Rose Wolf for your enjoyment, we’ve removed all the TVs… and instead there we have set up intentional ways that people can connect with each other or simply deeper with themselves.
Whether that is dancing through movement to the record player or writing in solitude in the office, sitting on the couch reading a book, telling a story to a child, or just going outside to play, our retreat center removes all the distractions of normal daily rhythms to allow a new and blank canvas to emerge to see how to invite in a new level of connection with oneself or those they are staying with.
At The Rose Wolf, there is no separation between what is wild in the heart and wild along the river bank. Play with children or your own inner child exploring at the river’s edge skipping rocks, building carnes, or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.
Disconnect to Reconnect
“In the presence of love, in the presence of the present moment, is where we can allow for more transformation and healing to occur.” - Paulina Smith
The river energy at The Rose Wolf lends itself to playfulness and letting go, personal reflection and finding new paths and momentum for new projects and passions. The kitchen and outer deck for dining around the fire pit invites gathering, shared meal-making, baking a cake or cookies and, in general, just being with friends and family.
Every visual and physical comforts has been taken into consideration with soulful curation of place and purpose for mindful for people looking to have everything set up and arrive so they can be present with each other and the work (or play) they are intending to do on their trip to a “home away from home.”

Walk into Wellness
Within the grounds of The Rose Wolf River Retreat you will find for use by guests an infrared sauna, essential oils, high vibrational crystals, candles, soul art paintings and a variety of fun things to do and try for the purpose of greater wellness.
Everything that was in the original home belonged to Paulina’s father, grandmother and grandfather, and the Bricca family. To be a sacred steward of the land for future generations, the retreat center underwent a magical transformation by professional interior designer (byCesalee Venema …… ) to honor and encompass all of the unconditional love that extends from the maternal and paternal sides of the Bricca family, along with the individual flares of creativity and spirituality of father Tom and new stewardess Paulina.
The Rose Wolf represents the balance and sacred union of the feminine and masculine natures of our worlds, weaving together presence, intention, and love.
Endless opportunities for personal and shared wellness awaits!
Open to the Possibilities
The Rose Wolf is designed to be modular and open to many different kinds of possibilities. We are open to welcome a family who desires to vacation on the beautiful Umpqua river, or to ceremonial facilitators and healing practitioners who have private clients and desire to host their offering at the sanctuary. The home is also open to be a venue for small, intimate events. The wellness studio has an infrared sauna, massage table, and homemade built-in desk perfect for creative use or as quiet space to work.
The retreat has 3 bedrooms and an office with fold-down twin couch. There is also ample space for camping in the backyard, or sleeping under the stars on the large deck.
The Rose Wolf is perfect for deep immersion that begins with inviting guests to tune into how they’d like to curate their own personal retreat.
